Our Founding & Management Team

Mr. Mehmood Abdul Razzak is the founding and managing partner of Baker Tilly Pakistan, heading the Assurance and Business Advisory Services. A highly accomplished Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience, he has been instrumental in establishing Baker Tilly Pakistan as a trusted name in assurance, business advisory, and consulting services. Through his visionary leadership, Mr. Mehmood has established Baker Tilly Pakistan as a cornerstone of the industry. Building on this success, he now aims to deliver innovative back-office support solutions through his newly formed venture, Socius (Private) Limited.

As the managing partner, he has extensive experience in overseeing audits across a diverse range of industries, including Banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies, Insurance, and Leasing Companies, Pharmaceuticals, The Power sector, Oil Marketing Companies, Manufacturing, IT, Distribution, Infrastructure, and other service-oriented companies.

In addition to his expertise in assurance, Mr. Mehmood has led numerous consulting engagements, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate finance advisory, valuations and forensic audits and much more. His ability to deliver practical solutions and navigate complex regulatory landscapes has made him a well sought-after consultant.

Mr. Mehmood has also contributed significantly to the advancement of the accountancy profession in Pakistan. He has actively participated in various committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), including the Taxation Affairs Committee, where he contributed to finalizing
budget proposals for three consecutive years. He has also been a member of the Auditing Standards and Ethics Committee, where his input helped shape professional practices and currently serving a member of Quality Assurance Board in ICAP.

A Member of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) and a Professional Accounting Affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Mr. Muneeb Ahmed brings over 20 years of extensive experience in audit, assurance, and financial advisory services. Over the course of his career, he has established himself as a trusted leader, delivering impactful results across financial reporting, regulatory compliance, forensic investigations, business valuations, and outsourced accounting solutions.

For the past two decades, Muneeb has been an integral part of Baker Tilly Pakistan, where he currently serves as Director of Assurance and Financial Advisory. Throughout his tenure, he has significantly contributed to the firm’s growth and success, playing a pivotal role in expanding its client base, enhancing service quality, and strengthening its position in the industry. His leadership has been instrumental in ensuring that the firm’s services align with international standards while addressing the evolving needs of a diverse clientele.

In his current role, he oversees a wide portfolio of audit and advisory projects, providing strategic direction, maintaining rigorous quality assurance, and collaborating closely with client leadership to deliver value-driven solutions. His expertise spans industries such as banking, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, insurance, NGOs, and financial services.

Beyond his assurance responsibilities, Muneeb has led numerous advisory engagements, including financial and tax due diligences, forensic investigations, internal audits, and business process improvements. His commitment to excellence, combined with his proactive problem-solving approach, has made him a trusted advisor to businesses navigating complex financial and regulatory challenges.

Mr. Osama is a CA Finalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with over 10 years of extensive experience at Baker Tilly Pakistan, a leading Chartered Accountant practice firm, where he has excelled in various roles. He has consistently delivered impactful results in auditing, taxation, advisory services, and business financial modeling, while also leading and managing the operational team at
Baker Tilly Pakistan’s Head Office.

He also possesses valuable BPO experience, providing back-office support to the Australian market for taxation, accounting, and auditing matters while working for an Australian-based firm which provided hands on experience of accounting software like Xero, Quickbooks, Handitax etc. Additionally, He has also been involved in providing Back office support of auditing services to Baker Tilly Dubai through the Caseware audit software using the Global Focus Methodology. This role leveraged expertise from the Pakistani market to deliver high-quality services.

He is driven by a passion for transforming traditional accounting practices, he aspires to pioneer the shift towards a dynamic and efficient digital audit ecosystem. This ambition has led him to pursue the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification, enhancing his expertise at the intersection of finance, audit, and technology. His goal is to transition conventional Chartered Accountant practices into innovative, technology-driven solutions, staying ahead of market trends and competitive forces.
